They made off with a very heavy strongbox, which held an undisclosed amount of money. It is said that two were killed in a later robbery attempt and third man was in prison and became ill and died. The dying man only admitted that the heavy strongbox was buried just south of Webb City, contents still intact. Photos Included: A map showing the location of Webb City and an old photo of the railroad station at Webb City, from around the time of the hold up. Find where the hold up took place at and the strongbox should be fairly close by.
