Krekel Depot now houses O'Fallon's Parks and Recreation offices. The depot formally served the North Missouri Railroad. It was built in 1854 on land owned by Judge Krekel. The Judge named the Station O'Fallon Station in honor John O'Fallon, President of the North Missouri Railroad. It later served the Wabash Line. It was moved 2 tenths of a mile west of its original location and about 120 feet north of the tracks and rstored.
