Comments/Directions:
The Rock Island depot has been relocated to just a block off I-70 on the west side of the street. It looks like someone attempted a cafe venture but was not successful. There is a mobile home right in front of it which might explain its failure since it is difficult to see. |

Comments/Directions:
I called this attraction Frisco Station rather than Frisco Depot since that is the name it uses today and more describes the functions it served. The building once housed Frisco offices. Tracks arrived via the rear of the station where passengers could board one level below the street grade in front. It now is used for apartments and office space. |

A trolley carbarn is located at Maiden Lane and 4th St. in Joplin. It is currently used by Bolivar siding. It once had two tracks inside that ran the length of the building, some of which still remain inside. One website called this a Joplin-Pittsburg trolley but it may have been part of the Southwest Mo. Electric Railway Co. |
