Comments/Directions: A restored Southwest Missouri Electric Railway car runs about 2 miles around an open pit lead mine. At one time the area boasted over 700 zinc and lead mines and the railway was the main means of transportation. The car runs first weekend in Sept for Webb City Miner Days. The depot is now used by the Webb City Chamber of Commerce. The phone number above is for the Chamber. |
