Comments/Directions: Streetcar service between St. Charles and St. Louis became a reality May 10, 1904, when a bridge spanning the Missouri River was completed. The service was terminated at the west end of the bridge at Second and Adams until this station was built in 1913. This station served as both a passenger and freight station with passengers in the front and freight in the rear. The last streetcar left St. Charles on January 18, 1932. The building was later used as Greyhound Bus depot. Now is used by a bail bond office. |
