Comments/Directions: A former silica sand quarry now a county park is at the top of the bluff. This silo was used for lading silica sand on to rail cars. The MKT rail is gone and is used as a 225 plus mile rails to trails state park. You can get to the base of the silo on the KATY trail and see the top from the park. silo is at N 38° 34.671 W 090° 50.475 on the trail.
