Comments/Directions: The former Winona Railroad depot in Winona Lake is now home to Carpet Depot. The owner is a gracious host and showed me the history of the depot and some of the interior character left from the legacy of the depot. The building has been very nicely restored, updated and preserved to not only be home to the business but also show the building's history. Stop in if you are in need of carpet or interior design and have a cup of coffed in the coffee shop in the depot. |
