Comments/Directions: Train rides utilizing cabooses, open-air cars, and a vintage commuter coach pulled by vintage diesel locomotives. Train rides are on Saturdays, May - October and special events. The museum is open year-round, Saturdays, 9am - 4pm, central time. There is a fee for train rides but the museum is always free. C&O 2-8-4 is on display with several cabooses and many other freight cars and diesel locomotives in the museum's collection. The railroad museum has created a unique lineside display of railroad signals along its tracks, representing many different roads and types.
