Comments/Directions: Restored by the Washington DC Chapter, NRHS to its classic 1930's appearance, Dover Harbor is a heavyweight six double bedroom/buffet kitchen/lounge Pullman car. Built by the Pullman Company in 1923, and rebuilt in 1934, the car operated in first class passenger train service on the Pennsylvania and New York Central Railroads until 1966. Currently certified for travel as a private car on Amtrak trains, Pullman travel can be relived via public trips (visit web site or call for current offerings) or private charter to destinations across the United States.
