IMAGES FROM DUWALD SCRAP YARDS
The DuWald scrap yards are located at approximately 10th Ave. and I-25, just a little south of Atlas scrap yards. They process scrap metal for recycling elsewhere. Since these pictures were take the operation has closed and there is nothing but bare concrete where there was heaps of scrap before. The yards are served by a BNSF siding.
With a track scale in the foreground the heaps of scrap can be seen in the Duwald yards.
BNSF 2863 eases out the loads first.

A fast moving assortment of BNSF power passes Duwald. Why not shoot that too?
